It seems that Quentin Tarantino loves to see Uma Thurman dancing, as she twirled her on the red carpet for a second time on a Cannes International Film Festival red carpet.

The actress – who famously boogied with John Travolta in Pulp Fiction as Mia Wallace – laughed as the director spun her around ahead of the Closing Ceremony.

Uma, 44, stunned in a white figure-hugging gown which featured a bird-like design on the bust, as she got ready to present the top award, the Palme D'or, with Quentin.

Thurman and Tarantino have worked together on three movies; Pulp Fiction, which celebrated its 20th anniversary at Cannes with a special beach screening of the nineties cult classic, and Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2.

Uma took the lead as The Bride in the revenge two-parter, which also starred Lucy Liu Monica Bellucci and Michael Madsen.

On Saturday night, the actress and director presented Turkish film Winter Sleep the evening's top accolade the Palme d'Or.

The drama, which runs for more than three hours and tells the story of a family that run a hotel in the snowy Turkish mountains, fought off stiff competition from 17 other entries to win the top honour at the annual event's closing ceremony today.

Accepting the accolade from Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman, director Nuri Bilge Ceylan, who previously won Cannes' second highest honour, The Grand Prix, twice, said: 'I want to dedicate the prize to the young people in Turkey and those who lost their lives during the last year.'

Uma's last cinematic outing was in Lars Von Trier's controversial two-parter Nymphomiac which was barred from competing at this year's festival as it could not be premiered at the event.

Speaking last year, at the Film Bazaar event in Goa, India, Cannes festival director Thierry Fremaux said that this was because the film would have been release in Denmark and Spain on December 25th.

Thurman will next be seen in Anita, the story of the former beauty queen and singer, Anita Bryant, who gained notoriety in the seventies for her campaigns to repeal laws that prohibited discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

However, HBO has yet to greenlight the film, to be helmed by Rob Epstein (Lovelace).

Uma is also rumoured to be appearing in the third Kill Bill film.
