Robert Pattinson may have moved on from his failed relationship with Kristen Stewart but the actor admits that he has still kept in touch with his ex-girlfriend despite their very controversial and highly-publicised split.
The former Twilight co-stars endured a public break-up back in 2012 when Kristen, 24, was pictured kissing her Snow White & The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 43, although they are believed to have reconciled a couple of times since, before finally calling it quits on their turbulent romance.

However, it seems there aren't too many bad feelings between the former lovers as Rob reveals they have been in contact with each other since their split. When asked by The Hollywood Reporter if the couple have kept in touch, Rob replies "blithely": "Oh, yeah."
Rob, 28, also shared his thoughts on the box office blockbuster franchise Twilight, which propelled him to global fame, but it seems he wasn't too impressed by the cult it became with young vampire-loving fans.

"Everything changed when they did the marketing, and the general public started to view [the films] in a different way when they started to push the 'team' aspect of it. It was like, 'I'm on Team Edward or Team Jacob,'" Rob explained.
"That saturated everything, and suddenly there was a backlash. Whereas with the first [film], there wasn't a backlash at all."
