Arctic Monkeys Give Rare Performance Of 'A Certain Romance' At Finsbury Park Gig
May 24th 2014, 10:19

Brit band Arctic Monkeys played the first of a two night residency yesterday evening. The boys treated their fans to a career-spanning set list, which even included hits from their debut album.

The Arctic Monkeys were in London last night as they performed at Finsbury Park, as part of a two night residency. The indie rock band looked very cool as they took to the stage in their suits.

All except drummer Matt Helders, that is, who opted for a more casual look. Lead singer Alex Turner is still rocking his trademark slick backed hair do and decided to take his suave look one step further with the addition of a black and white smokers jacket.

The band performed lots of tracks from their critically acclaimed album, AM as well providing fans with some of their older hits.

As they arrived on stage, Alex shouted: "F***ing hell, are you ready for a good time?"

The band then launched into their set list, starting with Brianstorm, Don't Sit Down Cause I've Moved Your Chair and Dancing Shoes.

And remember the song A Certain Romance? The band don't usually sing the hit song from their debut album What People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not. But not only did they perform it, but Alex gave a solo acoustic performance.

There really was something for everyone, as Alex said that he "wants to do something for the girls" and then proceeded to sing I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, the band's first number one hit.
