Jessica Simpson was the belle of the ball at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday night, but the singer did have a few problems with her couture gown.
The singer and her fiance, former NFL star Eric Johnson, were just two of the famous guests at the annual White House dinner hosted by President Obama on Saturday night, which brings together politicians, celebrities, journalists and sports stars.

Jessica was looking stunning in her floral print Caroline Herrera dress, which showed off her slimmed down figure. The strapless gown's dramatic train did prove to be a problem on the crowded red carpet though, as both she and Eric were seen constantly lifting up the dress so Jess could make her through the crowds.
"It's definitely chaotic," Jess told USA Today of the atmosphere. "and I should not be wearing a train on my dress. I don't know what Ms. Herrera's going to say when I get it back to her!"

Jess also revealed that after two children and constant delays, she and Eric have pretty much sorted out their wedding plans. "We are very close to sending out our invites," she revealed. "I've been very picky on how I want everything to look and feel."
The couple were also excited for a rare night away from their adorable children Maxwell, 2, and Ace, who'll be 1 on June 30. "It's me and Eric's first date night!" Jess told USA Today.
