But actress Emmy Rossum was anything but a class act when she appeared at a charity fundraiser in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday.
The brunette beauty stunned onlookers in a sleeveless Fran dress by Tory Burch as she supported the Santa Monica Museum Of Art's Annual Precognito Gala.

Wearing a sleeveless dress with a Peter Pan collar, the 27 year-old New Yorker enjoyed a sartorial high in her cream and silver gown.
Keeping it classy, she accessorised with pointed slingbacks and a clutch bag.
Meanwhile, her long hair - which took on a cool, retro style - was perfectly coiffed and boasted a dramatic sheen.

The annual celebration helps the museum to 'champion artists, curatorial perspectives and ideas that nurture and broadcast the transformative power of contemporary art', according to their website.
But the star was forced to attend alone, rather than on the arm of a friend or boyfriend.
While she is currently single, the actress has claimed in the past that what she wants more than anything is a geek to settle down with.

Emmy said: 'I'm kinda more attracted to the nerd. I'm really into guys who are super smart and funny and can teach me something I don't know about.'
Meanwhile, Shameless is currently wrapping its fourth season and Emmy has two projects in post-production set to come out this year, including drama You're Not You, directed by George C. Wolfe.
The film also stars Ali Larter, Josh Duhamel, Hilary Swank, Marcia Gay Harden and Frances Fisher in the tale of a terminally ill woman and the aimless young woman that becomes her caregiver.
