She had her long Easter weekend cut short by having to work on Saturday as part of her role as a Magic FM DJ.
But Denise Van Outen made sure she put on a cheery fashion display as she arrived at the station's central London studios for the day.
Putting her pins on parade as she wandered down the street, the 39-year-old presenter rocked a pair of rather daring floaty denim hotpants, which she teamed with a fun rainbow-motif knitted jumper.

Injecting a further bolt of colour to her youthful ensemble, the theatre actress added height to her frame with a pair of striking scarlet suede shoe boots, which served to further emphasise her toned and tanned legs.
Throwing another hue into the sartorial mix, the mother-of-one toted her belongings in a chic cobalt blue suede handbag, while sheltering her eyes from the spring sunshine with a pair of oversized shades.
The Essex girl wore her platinum blonde locks tumbling in loose waves around her shoulders, and opted for minimal make-up as she went about her day.

Raise a smile in a statement summer knit like Denise
Leaving the Magic FM studio in central London, Denise van Outen looked bright and breezy in a pair of high waist denim shorts, a cheery rainbow print jumper, bright red suede ankle boots and a cobalt blue suede bag.
It was a eclectic and daring outfit, but the 39-year-old pulled it off in style.
Fashion fans will instantly recognise Denise's jumper as being by Wildfox. The LA brand is known for it's super-fun vintage inspired pieces, and other celebrity fans include Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding and Miley Cyrus.
There are two trends going on here. First there's the kitsch rainbow print, which gives this jumper a super-fun feel. Then there's the laid-back LA distressed look which gives it a cool edge.

And while Denise certainly seemed to be in good spirits as she headed to work, she was a little disappointed in the lack of Easter festivity within the Magic FM office.
Posting a shot on her Twitter page of her posing alongside a slightly dubious-looking duck cuddly toy, she wrote: 'This is all I could find in the @magicfm office that is kind of Easter -ish #fail.'
The star of the small screen is certainly a busy bee at the moment, fitting in presenting her radio show with touring the country in one-woman show, Girl I Used To Know, and raising her three-year-old daughter Betsy alongside estranged husband Lee Mead.

Denise and Lee announced they had called time on their four-year marriage in July 2013, but remain friends.
Giving her first newspaper interview since the split, Denise told The Sun on Sunday in February: 'Sometimes you just don't feel the same any more but loads of people spend their lives pretending.
'At the time the story broke, Lee and I hadn't been living together for quite a while so we were ready.
'I'm proud that we've come out of this as pals - you do that for your child. Some people think there should be a massive fallout but it doesn't have to be like that.'
