Gwen Stefani is widely reported to be in the final stages of signing up for the next season of The Voice USA.
The No Doubt star would go into filming in June for the cycle due to air in September, according to numerous outlets including TMZ.
She would be filling the seat left vacant by Christina Aguilera, who is taking time off to give birth. Shakira had previously kept her seat warm in season four and the current season six, but is unable to fill in for season seven.

Aguilera is, however, considered a shoe-in to return for season eight - meaning Shakira's time on the show could now be over.
Pharrell is also set to step up to the plate, replacing the outbound Cee-Lo Green.
Stefani has never judged on a talent show before, and has been a member of No Doubt since 1986. They were signed to Interscope in 1991.
She has also had success as a solo artist; replasing albums Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and its follow-up The Sweet Escape. She has since insisted that it's her time with No Doubt that means the most to her.
The Voice's current season recently unveiled its Top 12 hopefuls.
