The Voice US: Adam Levine Calls Usher And Blake Shelton 'Total Morons' Following Tess Boyer's Performance
Apr 15th 2014, 09:16

As the search continued for The Voice last night, the coaches found themselves involved in a bit of name calling with coach Adam Levine starting it off by calling fellow coaches Usher and Blake Shelton "total morons".

Having seen talented singer Tess Boyer perform as part of Shakira's team, Adam admitted that he was wrong to not fight for her to be on his team before telling Usher and Blake off for not doing the same.

He said: "If you win this thing you can make me look like a real ding-dong for being the only person that didn't coach you on the entire coaching staff, so thanks for that."

Turning to Usher and Blake, the Maroon 5 frontman continued: "You and you are total - and I say this with respect - total morons."

However, Blake was quick to comeback with a defense and told Adam: "You never had her to begin with, you're the idiot. Usher and I handed Shakira one of the most talented people on The Voice."

Not getting involved in the name calling and focusing on Tess instead, Usher told the singer: "You have absolutely reaped the benefits of this entire panel and gotten a little bit of all of us to make you who you are now."

Tess soon found out her fate when Shakira announced that she was through to the live shows along with Kristen Merlin and Dani Moz.

Despite Shakira's team showing a lot of talent, Adam vowed that he had the best singers on the show with Delvin Choice, Kat Perkins and Christina Grimmie. Speaking of his team, Adam confidently remarked: "Going into the lives I think I have three of the best singers in the competition.

"These three singers are three of the best we've got right now and they're all on my team. That makes me very happy."
