Lindsay Lohan has addressed recent claims she was boozing again at the Coachella Music Festival last weekend insisting it was a "nice" family trip this time unlike other years.
The 27 year-old has been a fixture of the festival over the last few years but following her attempts to get sober, following her sixth trip to rehab last Summer, it was unsure if the Mean Girls star would be attending this year.
She did go along with brother Michael an sister Aliana, however claimed it was a much tamer affair than previous years. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday night she said: "To be honest, this Coachella was the best time I've ever had,"

"Going to Coachella. I've gone years when it was a different story. But this was the nicest trip I've ever had with my family. I was just with my family the whole time, and then I went off on Sunday by myself and watched Arcade Fire in the back and it was just, it was really nice to be able to do that."
She also spoke about her mother Dina, who this week pleaded guilty to a DUI offence, who she insisted was her best friend.
"It's really interesting how people perceive it and what gets told because my mom, if anything, she's gone out with me because I've forced her to come out with me," she said.
" Because it's just a security blanket. That's my mother."
The actress has attempted in recent months to get her life back on track after years of personal drama and run-ins with the law. Joking about her past she said: "I'm done with mug shots and I'm ready for an Oscar!"
