'It's Going To Be Hard': Elisabeth Moss Admits Feelings Over The End Of Mad Men As She Insists She's Doesn't Know How It Will End
Apr 14th 2014, 15:49

Elisabeth Moss has admitted that she's going to find the end of Mad Men hard as the last ever series began in the US last night.

Speaking to Rolling Stone as her character Peggy made a return to the small screen, Moss said of the last season: "It's starting to feel weird. [Laughs] I was talking to Matt [Weiner] the other night, just saying 'Wow, I'm starting to feel, like, that boulder in my chest'.

"I think we've all been a little bit naïve in thinking that it wasn't going to be that hard or bad…and I think it's going to be hard. [Laughs]."

Elisabeth plays the role of Peggy in Mad Men (WENN)

The actress also insisted that she's unaware of how the hit AMC drama will end when the final seven episodes air in 2015.

She said: "No, it unfolds as we get the scripts. It's always been like that. It's been like that, so it feels very normal to not know what's happening until, like, the day before.

"And even if you think you know, chances are it's going to be different than you thought, or … I've had so many moments on this show where I've been like, 'Oh my God, Matt, I can't believe you didn't tell me that!' Or he'll tell you things, but then he won't tell you the most important thing that's going to happen. [Laughs]"

Meanwhile, Elisabeth's co-star Christina Hendricks who plays the role of Joan Harris recently revealed to United Airline's Rhapsody magazine that she would like something "horribly tragic" to happen to her Mad Men persona.

In her interview, she said: "As a fan of the show, I want something horribly tragic to happen to her.

"A terrible accident or something, because I think that would be interesting."
