Michael Strahan's breakup with Nicole Murphy created a frenzy in the L.A. real estate market ... but Strahan is anything but cash strapped and is turning throngs of potential buyers away.
Our real estate sources tell us ... Strahan received more than a dozen "serious bites" on his 15,600 sq. foot Brentwood home. The house has nine bedrooms and 14 baths.
Strahan plunked down $16 million for the estate in December and we're told he could make a huge profit if he puts it on the market ... but he's not interested -- UNLESS he gets an offer in the mid 20s ... but that would be shocking and arguably stupid.
We're told Strahan hasn't really had time to enjoy the house -- since he's mostly in NY. Nicole is still living in the house.
Another reason Michael won't sell the house ... he was out to lunch this week with Nicole and our sources say a reconciliation is entirely possible.
