Anyone remember when Miley Cyrus made music? Because it seems like all she's doing these days is competing with Kylie and Kendall Jenner for the title of Queen of Instagram.
Of course, while Kendall and Kylie post inappropriate selfies by the score, Miley takes a different approach to gaining the Internet's attention. We call it the, "Hey y'all, look how freakin' weird I am!" approach.

That's a video Miley posted yesterday and, as you may have guessed, it's bizarre...and it features her tongue.
Miley's Instagram has been one of the weirdest on the web for a long time, so we shouldn't be surprised when she posts a clip like this one, but the tripped out lighting, the glassy eyes, the weird silence - it all just sort of makes us feel that Miley is in a very strange place these days.
Granted, it's not as worrisome as Miley's five-foot bong video, but it still has us hoping that Billy Ray is planning to pay her a concerned parent visit very soon.
It was one thing when Miley's weirdness was accompanied by an exploding music career, but at this point, her last hit single was released almost a year ago, and her Bangerz tour has met with disappointing ticket sales and TV audiences.
As the 2014 VMAs approach, we're reminded that we're coming up on the first anniversary of the performance that brought Miley to a whole new level of fame. Maybe she should celebrate by recording something in the studio instead of on her phone.
