Forget sexy wet t-shirts - the Foo Fighters have taken their ALS ice bucket challenge to the next level with their very funny spoof of the horror film, Carrie.
While you've got the likes of David Beckham, Tom Hiddleston and Jamie Dornan getting very wet (oo-er) and flaunting their bulging muscles to raise money for ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), you've also got the rather funny Foo fighters with their delightful spoof twist on the task.
For those not aware, the 'ice bucket challenge' is where some famous person chucks a bucket of freezing cold, icy water over their heads. They then donate some money to the charity raising money for ALS - a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord - and then nominate other celebs to do it as well.

Well the Foo Fighters were nominated by fellow rockers, Nickleback and they certainly lived up to the challenge.
The band's frontman Dave Grohl played the doomed prom queen, while drummer Taylor Hawkins played the deceptive date. Their band mates, Pat Smear and Nate Mendel fulfilled the prank by dropping the bucket on Dave/Carrie's head.
Dave then nominated John Travolta and Stephen King to grab a bucket of ice, giving them only 24 hours to complete the challenge.
Now, the book-buffs and film fans out there will know that the novel, Carrie was written by King and the 1976 film starred Mr John Travolta.

The author has already made his response and drenched his little white socks with icy water. Regarding the Foo Fighters vid, he later joked:
I think Dave Grohl looks very sweet in his prom dress.

John Travolta, we're still waiting...!
