"Scandal" star Columbus Short has been ordered to stay away from the man he allegedly assaulted in a bar last month at an engagement party.
Short has been charged with felony aggravated battery after he allegedly cold cocked the victim during some smack talk. The man supposedly was knocked out cold and suffered a broken nose.
During a court hearing today ... law enforcement -- not the victim -- requested the order. The victim does NOT want the case prosecuted ... he's gunning for a civil settlement.
