Johnny Depp has allegedly spoken about his love life in a new interview with a German magazine.
The actor, whose new movie Transcendence is currently being rolled out worldwide, was even asked about why he has become engaged to Heard but never took the same step with former flame Vanessa Paradis.
"I bet I'm just the kind of person Amber never wanted to be with," he told TV Movie magazine. "But it feels right for both of us."

And on what has changed since time with Paradis, he explained: "I'm now ready to love another person for the rest of my life."
On the subject of Transcendence - which struggled to find its footing at the US box office upon its release last weekend - he admitted that, despite the technological aspects of the movie, he is more-or-less useless when it comes to operating electronic stuff himself.
"I can't even write on a computer - I'm an idiot," he laughed.
"I prefer pen and paper. Or my typewriter from the '40s."
Depp and Heard met on the set of The Rum Diary in 2011 and were surrounded by romance rumours at the time. However it was much later when their relationship was finally confirmed.
