Skyfall and Quantum of Solace star Rory Kinnear has spoken out on the rumours that Chiwetel Ejiofor could be joining the cast of the next 007 outing.
The 12 Years a Slave Oscar nominee is reportedly being considered for the next Bond movie, which will be the 24th edition in the popular franchise.
Skyfall's Sam Mendes is back to direct while Daniel Craig will return for a fourth time as Bond. It's thought Chiwetel will play a villain in the new movie which is set to begin shooting this summer in time for the November 2015 release date.

There's been no official word yet with Chiwetel coyly dodging the subject during a recent chat with Yahoo! Movies, simply stating: "It's not for me to talk about that really, but it's an extraordinary franchise obviously."
EntertainmentWise caught up with Rory Kinnear on the red carpet at last night's Olivier Awards. Kinnear plays M's Chief of Staff and 007's ally Bill Tanner in Quantum of Solace and Skyfall and according to the Bond veteran, Chiwetel would be perfect for a villain role.

"He'd be good at anything he did, he's fantastic but I don't know anything!" Rory told us, adding that a Bond baddie has to have a "sense of mystery and enigma about them and Chiwetel has got that depth in spades".
