Reports that Sharon Stone was admitted to a hospital in Brazil earlier this month and treated for a stroke have been denied by the 56-year-old's representatives.
According to a report in the latest edition of the National Enquirer, Sharon was taken ill after hosting a gala benefit for AIDS research and was treated for two days at the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital.
The report claims that Sharon was "rushed to hospital" after co-chairing he fourth annual amfAR Inspiration Gala on April 4.
There are various reports as to what exactly the actress was treated for with Sáo Paulo radio station RCN La Radio quoting anonymous hospital sources saying that Stone was admitted after suffering a stroke.

The US magazine claims to have spoken to some friends of the Hollywood star who have voiced concerns for her hectic schedule which sees her regularly jet around the world for charity events. "Maybe this latest hospitalization will serve as a wake-up call that she needs to stop trying to do it all, and take it easy for awhile," a source told the publicaton.
The reports have since been denied by Stone's team, with a rep telling EntertainmentWise today there's "no truth" in the story.
Stone was previously hospitalised in September 2001 for a subarachnoid hemorrhage stroke which she fully recovered from, going on to front a 2003 commercial to raise awareness of stroke symptoms.
The actress was looking in good health on Wednesday as she spoke at the opening of the InnovAge Greater California PACE health care center for senior citizens in San Bernardino, California.
