Tom Hardy has fuelled rumours that he has secretly got married to fiancee Charlotte Riley by referring to the brunette as his "wife" in a new interview.
Tom spoke out about his other half at the Cinema Society Screening of latest movie Locke in New York, with him hinting to Us Weekly that he and Charlotte may now be newlyweds.
Speaking to the publication, the 36-year-old said that his family are always very supportive in terms of his work.
"Well my wife is an actor as well so she sort of gets it," he tells the mag, adding: "Apart from that, I'm a pain in the ass really. You know what I mean? Like any other boyfriend."
The actor then continued: "Isn't that part of being in a relationship?"
When asked what he loves most about Riley, Tom then said: "Aw, she's pure. She's just a very kind, pure person."

Us Weekly also claim that Tom was NOT wearing a wedding ring during the interview, so he may have said "wife" by mistake.
The pair met on the set of Wuthering Heights back in 2009 and got engaged a year later.
Hardy previously told More! magazine of his relationship: ''I try to be a good one and I'll do anything it takes to get there - listen, learn, go to therapy if necessary.
''My idea if a great date night is I like to stay in and watch a movie, as boring as it sounds. I used to be wild, but these days I'm a homebody.''
