She is rarely seen without her long dark locks cascading down her back.
But on Monday Kim Kardashian decided to ditch the extensions and reveal her natural hair, which fell just below her shoulders, during a whirlwind trip to Paris with fiance Kanye West.
What she lacked in the hair department though, the 33-year-old more than made up for with her dress – a skintight black gown decorated with an intricate pearl design.

Go to town in Kim's jaw-dropping embellished dress
Kim and Kanye have been living the Paris life for less than ten minutes and already the reality princess has been spotted in an array of designer looks. From her chic Saint Laurent blazer and Alaia heels, to no less than two of Balmain's signature dresses, and let's not forget her stash of designer handbags and footwear.
But this stand out dress by Balmain, featuring head-to-toe embellishment, is something else! No doubt this wouldn't be everyone's first choice when it comes to popping down the Champs Elysees for a spot of shopping, but they Kim Kardashian certainly doesn't live conventionally.
For us mere mortals, an embellished dress like this one would probably be more at home for an evening event, or a wedding at a push. Hailing from Balmain's AW12 collection, it is sadly no longer available. But we've rounded up our favourite wearable alternatives for some super chic inspiration. Team this TFNC halter-neck dress (below), with a pair of heels and a slick of red lipstick for a stand out evening look.

Just a few days earlier she was seen with her usual her dark hair that reached half way down her back.
The extremely expensive appearing dress didn't look like the most comfortable attire for a shopping trip, but the stoic reality star made walking in the tight number look like a walk in the park.
Falling to her ankles she had little room to walk and despite her high heels, she glided along elegantly as they visted Givenchy, Balmain and Lanvin.

She was spotted jetting back in the States – Miami this time - late on Monday evening wearing the black velvet dress she had started her day in and looking remarkably fresh faced.
It's thought that during her trip to Paris, she and Kanye paid a visit to a French chateau – a possible wedding venue for their May 24 nuptials.
