McBusted are currently wowing thousands of screaming fans on their 2014 tour and the band have now gushed over their amazing success as a super group, saying that they are quite overwhelmed by how excited fans have been over the whole thing.
The six piece band, consisting of Matt Willis and James Bourne from Busted, along with all four members of McFly, have managed to sell out a whopping 35 shows across the country.
Explaining why he thinks the band crossover has worked, James told the Mail Online: "I think being first is very important. What's so special about this is that we didn't try to jump on any bandwagon."
"It was a really honest idea. That really shines through... people can tell if something's fake."

McFly's Tom Fletcher added: "I don't think there's many bands who have a genuine crossover as much as ours do. No one else can do it."
"No one else can do it in genuine sense. A lot of bands can come together and make something work but for us it's genuine," he continued, adding: "I was nearly in Busted. We went to school with each other... our bands just blur into one."
Admitting that he's been overwhelmed by the group's success, Matt Willis said: "None of us expected this to happen. We all thought it was a cool idea."
"When we first came up with it, it was like 'Oh yeah, why don't we do that. That sounds like a really cool thing to do.' We just didn't know if everyone else would agree."
