The blue and white Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress which Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge wore on the first day of the Australian leg of the royal tour has sold out in minutes.
The Duchess and husband Prince William visited the Blue Mountains on Thursday where they met victims of recent bushfires in the area for their first full day of engagements. And it seems the 'Kate effect' is just as potent in Australia as it is in the rest of the world as the £292 dress sold out in just eight minutes.

Kate's tour wardrobe so far has been littered with some amazing pieces and it appears to just be getting better with this DVF dress and the Lemon Roksanda Illincic shift dress she wore on arrival in Syndey on Wednesday her latest looks.

It looks like the Duchess has kept to her tried and tested designers for the 25 engagements she'll undertake on the tour. We've already seen a custom Jenny Packham gown, an Alexander McQueen turqouise dress and Zara blazer, who are go-to brands for the fashion conscious royal.
