It's a friendship no one would have really anticipated, but Lindsey Vonn has reportedly become close friends with boyfriend Tiger Woods' ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.
Speaking to Us Weekly, an insider revealed that that 34-year-old Elin, made plans to meet Lindsey, because she knew the Olympic gold medalist would be around her children a lot.
The Swedish model has two children with her pro golfer ex, six-year-old daughter Sam, and five-year-old son Charlie.

And although the couple went through a messy divorce after six years of marriage, Elin allegedly found herself enjoying the company of his new girlfriend Lindsey.
"After meeting her, she found she actually liked her," the source said.
"You'd think it would be weird, but Elin loves Lindsey and they talk all the time.
"Elin likes that Lindsey is a strong woman."

And their friendship grew even stronger when the whole group went on holiday together, with the women occasionally going out together for drinks, while Tiger looked after the kids.
"Lindsey is really good for Tiger. She's strong, opinionated, and keeps him in line," the source added.
"Elin found that they are very similar and have a lot in common. They laugh and talk like they have been girlfriends forever."
