Cher Lloyd may have had huge success stateside, but it seems like there are still some people out there who don't know who the singer is, with a publicist having to hold up the X Factor star's name on a board so that everybody on the red carpet knew who she was ahead of her Hollywood Rocks performance yesterday. Awkward!
Cher may or may not have known that her name was being wafted around behind her on a big white board, but the singer did look a little embarrassed to be walking the red carpet, going by the look on her face.
The 20-year-old singer has definitely come a long way since her talent show days, with her rocking a new blonde look at the event that took place at Los Angeles' Supperclub this week, but it seems like her California babe appearance now fits in with everybody elses, with paps and onlookers needing a bit of a reminder of exactly why she was there.

Speaking about her changing looks, Cher recently told Billboard: "I get very bored with hairstyles. Like this one time I dyed my hair bright red — it looked vile, but I thought it was cool because it was different. My favourite is just messy. Like you don't brush it or anything, you just wake up and it's done."
She added of the time she shaved her head: "It wasn't a bet, I was rebelling. I'm a rebel like that. If someone says I can't do something, I'll go ahead and do it straight away."
