In tweets which have since been deleted the star says she won't be appearing in the follow-up
Mrs. Doubtfire may be getting a sequel but don't expect to see Mara Wilson, who played adorable Nattie, popping up in the follow-up.
It's been reported today that Robin Williams will be back as the lovable Euphegenia Doubtfire in a follow-up to the smash hit 1993 family favourite. Chris Columbus will reportedly return as director, whilst the writer of hit Christmas comedy, Elf, David Berenbaum is said to be penning the script.
While no other cast members have been confirmed, including Sally Field or Pierce Brosnan, it doesn't look like child star Mara will be back.

Mara was just five-years-old when she starred as Robin and Sally's youngest child in what was her movie debut. She went on to star in a string of nineties classics including Matilda and the remake of Miracle on 34th Street.
Now working as a writer, 26-year-old Mara has taken to Twitter today to slam the sequel plans, insisting it's a bad move to reboot the classic film which pulled in $441 million (£277 million) at the global box office.
In posts that have been retweeted by the likes of Evan Rachel Wood, but have since been deleted on Twitter, Mara wrote this morning: "For the record, no, I do not have anything to do with the Mrs. Doubtfire sequel, nor will I.
"I've been in some mediocre movies, but I've never been in a sequel. And I have no interest in being in one now".
"Sequels generally suck unless they were planned as part of a trilogy or series. I think Doubtfire ended where it needed to end".

She added: "I'm glad I had the chance to be in it, and I'm proud of what we did, but I don't see how we could do it again. There are many, many reasons I don't want to be in Mrs. Doubtfire 2. But they haven't even asked me (yet), so no need to worry."
That's a no then...
