Rolling Stones member Ronnie Wood has expressed his grief at the passing of soul legend Bobby Womack.
The soul singer died in his sleep on Friday at the age 70 and seemed to have been a massive influence on the guitarist.
Ronnie tweeted: "I'm so sad to hear about my friend Bobby Womack - the man who could make you cry when he sang has brought tears to my eyes with his passing.''

Bobby first started his career as a member of the group Curtis Womack and the Womack Brothers with his brothers Curtis, Harry, Cecil and Friendly, Jr.; however, the brothers changed their name to the Valentinos when they signed their record deal in 1960.

Other stars who paid tribute to the legend were Damon Alban, De La Soul, CeeLo Green, Angie Stone and Jessie Ware.
The late singer released his last studio album, The Bravest Man In The World in 2012 and received great praise for the work and was voted one of the 50 Best Albums that year.
At the time, he revealed how much age had benefitted him in making the record.
"You know more at 65 than you did at 25. I understand the songs much better now. It's not about 14 Rolls Royces and two Bentleys. Even if this album never sells a nickel, I know I put my best foot forward."
