Ariana Grande's 'Problem' has been out for ages across the rest of the world, but the UK release had been kept back until today (June 29) - and it has shot straight to the top of our iTunes rankings within minutes.
The song, which features Iggy Azalea, will give the Nickelodeon star her first British hit single when it enters the Official Charts next weekend (July 6).
'Problem' (Packshot)
However, bagging the No1 spot will not be as straightforward as staying on top of the iTunes list for the coming days - as the Official Chart is now changing to incorporate streaming data as well as sales. The July 6 rundown will be the first to be published under the new rules, which state that 100 streams will be counted as the equivalent of 1 purchase.
This means that, in order to net the top spot, 'Problem' will have to prove as popular on streaming services such as Spotify as it is on stores such as iTunes.
Elsewhere on the digital shop's in-house list, Sia has entered the Top 10 with her new single 'Chandelier'; her first hit in her own right since she featured on David Guetta's 'Titanium' and Flo Rida's 'Wild One'.
Grande has not commented on the UK release of 'Problem' on Twitter.
