A One Direction fan managed to get the attention of Harry Styles at a recent packed-out gig by pretending her boyfriend had recently left her.
Samantha Strain, 24, held up a sign during the boyband's Murrayfield gig in Edinburgh that read: "Just Been Dumped".
She joked that faking the end of her relationship - which in actual fact is doing just fine - was "worth it" to be noticed by the curly-haired popstar.

"I know I told a lie about being dumped, and I'll probably be dumped now, but it was worth it," Samantha told the Daily Record - the newspaper her boyfriend Fraser works for.
Harry had said: "There's a sign there - 'Just Been Dumped'. Why?"
Samantha had shouted back at him: "Because I came here."
"Ah, he doesn't like us," Harry replied. "You don't want a boyfriend like that anyway.
"You don't. I'm telling you. You want someone who is supportive."
