So it's fitting that Chris Brown would enjoy a flash weekend of Independence Day celebrations with girlfriend Karrueche Tran in California's Malibu - which included driving around in a brand new Lamborghini.
But he also couldn't resist sharing a revealing picture of his partner in a bikini.

Wearing an Aztec styled poncho, the chart-topping rapper was clearly happy to be marking the American holiday weekend.
Generating interest with his new car, which is reported to have cost him $750,000, brown lapped up the attention in typical fashion.
He then jumped into the driving seat and took it for a spin with his partner by his side.

Just a few hours later he shared a very provocative picture of his girlfriend, in which she was wearing a two-piece and could be seen turning around to smile at the camera.
Revealing a tattoo on the back of her right thigh, the image has already attracted more than 140,000 'likes'.
Clearly it's something he appreciates - just two weeks earlier he posted a similar shot.

The troubled singer has been enjoying time with friends and family following his release from jail on June 2 after serving 108 days of his 131-day sentence for violating probation.
But he has found himself in hot water again after a video emerged of the singer throwing gang signs in a nightclub, last Sunday.
The troubled star was seen throwing up hand signs that are allegedly affiliated with notorious Los Angeles street gang, the Fruit Town Piru. In a video posted on TMZ, Chris can be seen greeting a friend before he begins to signal very specific shapes out to the crowd below.

According to TMZ, several 'Fruits Piru' members were living with Chris before he went served 108 days of his 131-day jail sentence for violating his probation following his 2009 assault of Rihanna.
Since his release last month, the singer has attempted to maintain a positive image but the latest news will not be pleasing to some fans.
Chris had been in a very celebratory mood on Sunday after he made a triumphant return to the stage at the 2014 BET Awards.
