Sir Paul had to cancel gigs after he contracted a mysterious virus...
Sir Paul is back! After a two month hiatus, Paul McCartney hit the stage on Saturday night for the first time since a virus sidelined his Out There tour. Wearing a blue blazer and black pants, Paul rocked the Times Union Center in Albany, New York, looking happy and healthy.
Paul was forced to cancel his tour of Japan, as well as gigs in the United States and South Korea after he contracted the virus. He spent a brief period of time in a Japanese hospital recovering from the illness. In June he released a statement on his health to his fans.

"I'm sorry, but it's going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again," the former Beatle said. "I'm feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon."
His gig in Albany marks the first time Paul has taken the stage since playing in Costa Rica on May 1. According to the Wall Street Journal, Paul did not talk about the virus during the concert, but did treat his fans to a version of The Beatles' song 'Eight Days a Week.'
Paul is scheduled to play gigs in Pittsburgh, Chicago and Fargo, North Dakota, next week. The U.S. dates that were cancelled will be rescheduled for October.
