Coming soon: Teaser posters for upcoming mystery thriller film Gone Girl have been released, including one featuring a wedding photo of the main characters played by Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike
The group appears eerily happy, with Amy and Nick Dunne (Pike and Affleck, respectively) looking very much in love.
The snapshot is contained within a plastic bag labelled 'Evidence' and placed atop a wooden table.
The poster states ironically at the top, 'HAPPY ANNIVERSARY' and indicates at the bottom that a new trailer will be released on July 7.
Scandalous: Another poster for the film which hits theaters October 3 features a bag containing a lacy red thong
There are three more accompanying posters, each containing mementos providing insight into the story's foul play.
One bag contains a lacy red thong, one has a snippet from Amy's diary, reading, 'This man may kill me,' and another contains a scalpel.
Gone Girl's first trailer was released in April, painting a bleak landscape of lies, intrigue and desperation.

Ben stars as Nick Dunne, a man who becomes the prime suspect in a murder when his wife Amy (Pike) vanishes on their fifth wedding anniversary.
But of course, not all is as it seems and the plot twists and turns with both Amy and Nick's motives coming under question.
The trailer shows Ben's character seemingly doing all he can to help the search for his missing spouse.
Storyline: Affleck stars as Nick Dunne, a man who becomes the prime suspect in a murder when his wife Amy (Pike) vanishes on their fifth wedding anniversary
Searches are conducted through fields, he sits down for a television interview, and giant billboards are erected featuring Amy's face.
However, things soon turn dark, with Nick being questioned by police who swab his mouth, watch him at home, and search his house.
The film also stars Neil Patrick Harris as Amy's old boyfriend Desi Collings and Tyler Perry as Nick's defence attorney Tanner Bolt.
