They have been happy to spend time together since their decision to consciously uncouple in March.
And Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were both seen attending the Hector and the Search for Happiness screening in New York on Monday.
She plays no part in director Peter Chelsom's new adaptation, but Gwyneth still took centre stage thanks to the distinctively patterned midi-dress.

Special screening: Gwyneth Paltrow was in attendance at an advance screening of new film Hector and the Search For Happiness in The Hamptons on Monday evening
The Oscar-winning actress sported the flattering ensemble which clung to her nicely toned frame as she arrived to watch the forthcoming comedy in upmarket coastal suburb The Hamptons.
Gwyneth, 41, matched her outfit with a pair of chunky peep-toe shoes, while her minimal use of make-up and naturally parted hairstyle underscored the uncomplicated nature of the ensemble.
While it was thought Gwyneth had only attended the screening with her mother, Blythe Danner, her estranged husband, Chris Martin, was spotted making his way out of the theatre.

Speaking to People magazine, a observer said: 'They seemed so comfortable with each other. It was like they were still married.'
Inside the screening, the pair chatted with friends before heading to the after party at Serena and Lily Beach Market in Wainscott.
Based on Francois Lelord's 2010 novel, Hector And The Search For Happiness stars British actor Simon Pegg as the titular character – an unsettled psychiatrist who sets out on a quest for fulfillment by attempting to discover the true meaning of happiness, thus helping himself and his patients.
Also featuring performances from Rosamund Pike, Toni Collette, Christopher Plummer and Tracy Ann Oberman, the dramedy goes on general release in the UK on August 15 and in the United States on September 19.
The pair's outing at The Hamptons screening comes shortly after Chris admitted that his 'conscious uncoupling' with the actress was without drama.

'So there's nothing -- there's no scandal I'm afraid. I wish I could give you scandal.'
The Coldplay frontman was reluctant to speak about the topic as he said: 'The truth is - well, I don't really love talking about this stuff.
'But the thing we told everyone at the beginning of the year is true. We are very close, we are not together. But, we're...you know…that's the truth... and uh, that's it.'
Following his split with Gwyneth, Chris was romantically linked to model Alexa Chung, though Chris's representatives were quick to shoot down the rumours, telling E!: 'They are not dating.'
The singer's latest Coldplay EP, A Sky Full Of Stars, was recently released, which followed up the band's earlier 2014 hit, Magic.
