Selena Gomez Calls Police After Fearing Another Burglar Had Broken Into Calabasas Home
Jul 1st 2014, 11:53

Selena Gomez feared her home had been targeted by a burglar again over the weekend prompting her to call the police, just a couple of months after a man was arrested for breaking into her property.

The 21-year-old reportedly arrived back home on Sunday night just before midnight when she saw the back door was wide open, and feared an intruder had gotten inside the premises.

According to TMZ, after Selena rang 911, the police rushed round and fortunately found that there were no signs of forced entry or anyone else inside the house, meaning it's possible the singer had left it open herself.

Selena has every right to be cautious though as in April, a man was arrested after jumping over the fence of her Calabasas home.

Although it was established that he wasn't attempting to rob anything, it was reportedly the second time he had tried to enter the property after breaking in last March.

Che Cruz was committed to a mental health facility on June 20 where he currently remains, although TMZ says he is only required to stay there for 30 days.

The man has been ordered to stay at least 200 yards away from the 'Come & Get It' singer and her home for the next ten years.
