Jun 6th 2014, 02:10

This is great to hear...

Paris Jackson is said to be doing a lot better now than she was doing just a year ago when it was reported that she sadly attempted to take her own life.

The daughter of Michael Jackson is currently attending a private boarding school in Utah, and has reportedly made a lot of strides while at her new school.

According to an E! News report, she is now getting back to normal.

"She is doing a lot better," the source confirms. "She is getting back to normal. I think she has made quite a bit of progress over the past year."

Paris is been in Utah ever since she left a treatment center in LA late last year. The insider reveals that being in Utah has been exactly what she needed.

"Utah has been exactly what she needed to get better," the source stated. "She is in a much better place than a year ago. It's just a matter of time before she comes home."

There has also been some speculation as to when Paris will return back home. However, the source confirms that she will only return home when she is 100% ready.

"There have been recent discussions on when she could come back and some talk as early as this summer or later this year, but everyone wants to make sure she is ready and that can be an evolving situation," they explained.

Paris Jackson was initially hospitalized in June of last year after the incident.
