First Photo Of Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman Revealed At San Diego Comic-Con

Gal joins Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck in Batman v. Superman.

Gal Gadot will suit up as the ultimate female superhero Wonder Woman in the DC Comics mega movie Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and she looks ready for battle.

Standing on molten rocks, Wonder Woman wears a bronze breastplate with matching knee high boots with tiara. The outfit moves away from the typical American iconography used in early productions of the superhero and inherits more of her Amazonian background.

"I represent the Wonder Woman of the new world. Breasts… anyone can buy for 9,000 shekels [Israeli currency] and everything is fine," Gal told Israel's Good Evening with Gai Pines.

"By the way, Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I'd really go "by the book"…it'd be problematic."

The native Israeli appeared alongside her Justice League friends Superman, played by Henry Cavill, and Batman, played by Ben Affleck, at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 26. After director Zack Snyder revealed the Wonder Woman pic, Gal posted it to her Twitter with the message, "I'm ready… are you?"

To get ready, the Fast & Furious star underwent intensive training including Kung Fu, kickboxing, swords and jujutsu. Before becoming an actress, Gal served two years in the Israel Defense Forces as a sports trainer.

Gal has signed on for three movies as Wonder Woman including Batman v. Superman, her own Wonder Woman feature and Justice League.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice premieres in theaters on May 6, 2016.
