Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis have been surrounded by dating rumours for a while now, but according to new reports, the Dancing With The Stars couple are "just friends."
The couple grew extremely close on the show, but although they were immediately romantically linked because of their pally ways, sources have said that there is no romance there at all.
An insider tells E! News: "In truth, there is no romance there. They're good friends, but nothing more. The hype about it has been fun, but it's not real."
This comes after the DWTS winner appeared on Wendy Williams recently, with the US host cutting straight to the chase and asking her if she was having sex with her dancing partner.
"What's going on, are you guys smushing?" she cheekily asked.

As the audience roared, Maks dodged around the question and told the inquisitive host: "We must have spent so much time in the studio we have no idea what that means."
But he unwittingly set himself up for a fall, as Wendy then went on to ask: "Are you having sex? Are you you all boyfriend and girlfriend or lovers or anything?"
After a "wow" from Meryl, the Olympic ice-skater said: "No, we're not dating."
And Meryl wasn't going to give anything else away, as she stated: "We like to keep our personal lives, personal" when Wendy pushed to find out if she was seeing someone.
